Seagull E-VTOL project aims to enable aircraft to fly with ZERO emissions. Italsystem S.R.L., according with other partners in the aeronautic field, set the objective of carrying out the technical coordination, feasibility analysis, design and development of the pilot-aircraft control cockpit system.
Specifically, the R&D division of Italsystem s.r.l. is working on the design and development of a digital touchscreen cockpit system. After the analysis of MIL-STD740F and DO-160G standards, the design requirements for the digital cockpit system were defined. The touchscreen digital cockpit system shows different data to the pilot; most of them, are related to the flight attitude, provided through the design and implementation of an experimental A.H.R.S. system. In addition to flight attitude informations, the touchscreen cockpit allows to monitor the status of the engines, the BMS, the DC link voltage and other key parameters controlled by on-board electronics.
All the electronics, the software and the CAD of the touchscreen cockpit frame were developed by Italsystem s.r.l.
