Since 2010, ItalSystem has been Prime Partner in numerous national and European research projects focused on the Design, Development and Certification of Control Boards dedicated to Electromechanical Actuation Systems.

ITS-ECU21 it is the result of two decades of knowledge in avionics software qualification (DO-178C DAL A) and in electronic systems design and implementation.

Designed with a modular approach, aiming to be compliant with Multipurpose Requirements, ITS-ECU21 it can be used for the movement and control of any type of mobile surface and, thanks to its small size, it can be configured for the management of multiple aeronautical subsystems.

The device is able to drive and control actuators in the range 200W – 1000W.
It is fully compatible with Mathworks Tools (Matlab/Simulink) and the design approach Model Base Design for the design and qualification of flight software (DO-178C).
