The platform created integrates the possibility of publishing information on multi-format devices with the ability to “learn knowledge” regarding the equipment described in the S1000D compliant authoring phase. Thanks to a Knowledge level designed by applying modern Knowledge management techniques and semantic elements; the platform integrates an advanced “intelligent” and self-training search functionality. The definition of ontological domain models is the starting point for the formalization in OWL – Ontology Web Language of the “knowledge base”.
